The Church is an ideal historic venue that is flexible to your needs.

Hold your next event at our unique and beautiful venue, making use of both the indoor and outdoor atmosphere in a safe and central location in the “Heart of Tasmania”.  For safety and privacy our 1.5 acres of grounds and gardens are fully fenced.

To ensure a positive experience your group can stretch their legs and spend some time outdoors as well as inside The Church. Perhaps break up an indoor meeting or event with some yard games, or instead of eating indoors, you may choose to enjoy outdoor garden furniture, outdoor bean bags, stretch out on a picnic blanket, or gather around our fire pits in cooler months.

Let us know if you want our Coffee & Bar Caravan open for you and your guests.  This includes alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks and Barista Coffees.

What you can hire – 

  • Office Hire / Small Meeting Room (for up to 6 people)
  • Meetings in The Church (for up to 100 people)
  • Church Hire – for parties, corporate events, functions, gatherings, shows, performances, concerts, presentations, expos etc. (for up to 120 people)
  • Church & Grounds Hire – exclusive use of The Church, grounds & gardens. Weddings, events, expos, large corporate events, etc. (for up to approx 300 additional people).

The Church Inside Capacity:

120 – Cocktail / party style (standing with servery table, some chairs, lounges & wine barrels).

120 – Theatre / show style (all seating).

100 – Dining / Meetings – group work style (varying sized tables & chairs).

  • FREE DRINK STATION: iced water, our signature fruit punch, teas, coffees, cow’s and vegan milks, sugars, teaspoons, mugs, cups, etc.
  • FREE EQUIPMENT: Full use of whiteboard, whiteboard markers, paper, pens, cables, power cords & power boards.
  • FREE WI-FI: Plus serviettes, tissues, desk, chairs, lounges, coffee table etc
  • FREE set up & clean up.

NOTE:  There are NO equipment hire fees, no tea & coffee charges, or catering requirements.  Compare us & be impressed!

The Church Catering Boxes

Office Hire & Small Meeting Room COST:

FOR UP TO 6 PEOPLE – FOR ALL prices are INTRODUCTORY SPECIALS for 2024.  

Morning Hire – access between 9am & 12 noon (4hrs): $130

Afternoon Hire – access between 1pm & 5pm (4hrs): $130

Evening Hire – access between 5.30pm & 9.30pm (4hrs): $130

Full Day Hire – access between 9am & 5pm (8hrs): $270

Deposit: Non-refundable booking deposit $130 is due at time of booking.  Dates can be changed up to 2 weeks prior to the meeting and your deposit transferred to the new date.

EXCLUSIVE USE HIRE:

The office is tucked away, down our side path, in a privately fenced area of the grounds.  You will also have exclusive use of an outdoor table setting area.

 

  MEETINGS IN THE CHURCH:

FULL DAY HIRE FOR UP TO 100 PEOPLE – Access any time after 8am and up to 6pm (10 hours)!  INTRODUCTORY ALL-INCLUSIVE SPECIAL $550 (including GST).

EXCLUSIVE USE HIRE INCLUDES:

  • FREE DRINK STATION: iced water, our signature fruit punch, teas, coffees, cow’s and vegan milks, sugars, teaspoons, mugs, cups, etc.
  • FREE EQUIPMENT: Full use of projector, whiteboard, whiteboard markers, paper, pens, cables and power cords, lectern/pulpit, microphone, amplifier, power boards, etc.
  • FREE WI-FI: Plus serviettes, tissues, tables, chairs, lounges, coffee tables, wine barrel tables etc
  • FREE set up & clean up.

The CHURCH – LARGE VENUE FUNCTION HIRE:

Church Hire – for parties, corporate events, functions, gatherings, shows, performances, concerts, presentations, expos etc. (for up to 120 people)

      If you wish to provide your own decore, or have a stylist, you/they can have access to the event prior. Decorations will also need to be removed after the event – times can be discussed with the owners.
