Payment Terms

To secure your wedding date at The Church, a non-refundable venue hire fee of $3,000 is payable at the time of booking. This guarantees exclusive access to the entire property for your special day and we will not accept any other bookings.

Final guest numbers and all remaining balances are due two weeks prior to your wedding.

TASMANIAN COLD GRAZING TABLE

COST – $29.00 p/head 

On-site & introductory price only. Price will increase to $39 p/head after August 2026.

Additional Time – $18.00 p/head per hour

CONSUMPTION (OPEN BAR)

 1. TAB BAR

A selection of drinks (you choose a selection of eg wines/beers/spirits) are offered to guests and placed on a tab, which you pay for at the end of the evening. You pay $2,000 deposit, 2 weeks prior and final amount on the day/night.

2. TAB BAR with your set limit

A selection of drinks (you choose a selection of eg wines/beers/spirits) are offered to guests and placed on a tab, which you pay for at the end of the evening. A set amount is placed over the bar and when this has been reached, guest will purchase their own drinks.  You pay $2,000 deposit, 2 weeks prior and final amount on the day/night and guests purchases are to be paid as each is ordered.

3.  CONSUMPTION BAR

Guests pay for their own drinks as each drink is purchased.

PAYMENT: Venue hire fee of $3,000 is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable.  This will ensure your date is locked in and we will not accept any other bookings. The whole property will be exclusively yours!

Final numbers and all other payments are required 2 weeks prior to your wedding date. If choosing the “pay on consumption basis” option, you pay $2,000 two weeks prior to your wedding and the remainder (if any) on the night.

Buick Convertible Wedding Car Hire The Church Campbell Town Tasmania

Wedding car Hire

Arrive at your wedding in style, making an impressive entrance.  We will come to your location 45 minutes before you wish to leave, so we can pour you some quality Tasmanian sparkling wine, (or soda water), whilst you prepare to be chauffeured to the wedding venue and have photos taken as you choose.

Up to 3 hours of hire and up to 4 passengers.  Time commences and finishes from The Church Campbell Town location.

INTRODUCTORY 2025 PRICE

Prices INCLUDES:

  • Up to 2 hours hire of vintage 1964 Buick convertible with white wedding ribbon.
  • Uniformed chauffeur (black suit, hat, gloves, and Campbell tartan bow tie), with a public passenger vehicle license, national police check, current working with vulnerable people card and have completed a Doctor’s assessment of medical fitness to drive.
  • Arrival at your location 45 minutes before departure.
  • 2 Bottles of quality Tasmanian Sparkling Wine and soda water for a drink upon our arrival with ice bucket and champagne glasses.
  • Chilled still & sparkling water.
  • Use of The Church umbrellas, ponchos and warm rugs, if needed.
  • Plus, if needed, the use of our “just in case” kit that includes everything from bobby pins, hair spray, safety pins, hair scarves, first aid kit, sewing kits, wet wipes etc etc.

Hire cost:

  • Wedding Hire Cost: $350 + travel costs.
  • Pick up & drop off at your location:
    • If you would like us to pick you up and return you to your location/accommodation this is charged at $1 per kilometer (without passengers). The travel fee is charged from our location at  The Church to your location, then the same charge for our return travel after drop off. Eg. If you wish to be collected and returned to your accommodation at, for example, Saffire Freycinet, which is 105 kms from The Church Campbell Town, we will charge $105 each way = $210 + Wedding Hire Cost = TOTAL $560.

A few things about me: I grew up in Naarm/Melbourne but saw the light and moved to Lutruwita/Tasmania ten years ago (zero regrets my friend, this state is beyond gorgeous and has my heart forever and always). I’ve worked for many years and continue to work in the community services space. I love getting to know people from all backgrounds and their stories. My pronouns are she/her. Inclusivity and accessibility will always be top priority for me.  Forever a theatre kid, I know how to entertain and put on a show!

My name is Frances Driessen and there is nothing I like more than helping people and making people happy. After 40 years in the workforce, 18 years with Ansett Airlines (non existent now I’m afraid) in various roles and then 22 years of teaching children to swim in my own little boutique swim school, Starfish Swim School….I decided that even in retirement I wished to contribute to society and bring joy to people’s lives and what better way that to become a Marriage Celebrant.

In my new role I look forward to bringing loved up couples together who are ready to make that lifetime commitment and help them to ‘Make their love Legal’ by providing them with a wedding ceremony that they have always dreamed of.
