Step into a bygone era and experience Tasmania like never before—in the comfort and class of our 1964 Buick Skylark convertible. With its top down and timeless style, this vintage beauty turns every journey into a celebration of nostalgia, scenery, and sophistication.

Our classic convertible seats a MAXIMUM of four passengers of smaller statue —three in the back and one up front—though we recommend just two in the rear seat for maximum space and comfort. The choice, of course, is entirely yours.

But this isn’t just transport. It’s a tailored experience. With mature, professional, and fully licensed chauffeurs behind the wheel, our tours are all about relaxed cruising. No rush, no stress—just the fresh Tasmanian air, stunning views, and the joy of travelling at a leisurely pace. Our drivers balance attentiveness with discretion, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your special outing.

Whether you’re gliding through wine country, along the coast, or into the heart of our charming towns, every moment is crafted to be memorable. Enjoy comfort, elegance, and a touch of old-world romance as you take in the sights.

Safety is always our priority. That’s why our vehicle is fully insured, all drivers hold Tasmanian Government Passenger Vehicle Licences (including rigorous medical checks), and although seat belts aren’t actually required in this vintage car, we’ve had professional seatbelts installed in all seating positions. 

And don’t worry about the weather—our tours go ahead rain or shine. With the roof up, cosy blankets, umbrellas, and ponchos at the ready, you’ll be well looked after no matter what the skies bring.

Inclusions

for all tours & hires:

  • Hire of our immaculate vintage 1964 Buick Skylark convertible.
  • Uniformed chauffeur, with
    • Public passenger vehicle license,
    • National police check,
    • Current working with vulnerable people card and
    • Have passed a Doctor’s assessment of medical fitness, and
    • First Aid Certificate.
  • Chilled still & sparkling water throughout your tour.
  • Iced esky to hold any food or wine purchases.
  • Use of our umbrellas, ponchos, rugs, picnic blankets etc.
  • 2 sets of binoculars for getting a closer look at nature and the scenery.
  • A folder of brochures and information on places you visit to take home with you and reminisce about your day.
  • We are happy to take photos for you at any location, please feel free to ask your chauffeur at any of your stops.
  • A gift from us to keep as a souvenir of your visit – a box set of The Church 4 Piece Cheese Knives.
  • Plus, if needed, the use of our “just in case” kits that includes everything from sunglasses, reading glasses, bobby pins, hair spray, hair scarves (because if the roof is down, you WILL end up with a new hairdo), corded sun hats, beanies, first aid kit, sewing kit, safety pins, anti-bacterial wipes etc etc.

NOTE: The car can seat 4 passengers: 3 in the back seat and 1 in the front passenger’s seat, however we think it is most spacious and comfortable with just 2 in the back seat.  But that is up to you.

 

Prices:

Pick up & drop off at The Church Campbell Town:

    • $140 per hour (with passengers). Minimum charge 3 hrs / $420.  
  • Picnic Option:
    • $49.95 per person. We will take you to a carefully selected, quiet, stunning picnic spot to enjoy Tasmanian Gourmet Picnic Hamper, highlighting Tasmanian produce & homemade delights. Includes everything you need eg basket, tablecloth, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. (Gluten-free, vegetarian & vegan options are available upon request).
  • Restaurant Option:
    • Pay directly at the venue. We can take you to a country pub or fine dining restaurant of your choice or we can recommend one.  You pay them directly at the time.
  • Tasting Fees:
    • Pay directly at the venue. We understand that not everyone chooses to participate in alcohol tasting, we therefore leave that up to you.  Some locations charge a tasting fee, which is at your own expense.
  • Pick up & drop off at your location:
    • $1 per km. If you would like us to pick you up and return you to your location/accommodation this is charged at $1 per kilometre (without passengers). The travel fee is charged from our location at  The Church to your location, then the same charge for our return travel after drop off. Eg. If you wish to be collected and returned to your accommodation at, for example, Saffire Freycinet, which is 105 kms from The Church Campbell Town, we will charge $105 each way = $210 total, plus tour fees.

Our Tasmanian Gourmet Picnic:

$49.95 per person

There are plenty of dining options along our journeys, from elegant restaurants and welcoming country pubs to cosy local cafés. If there’s somewhere special you’d like to dine, simply let us know — or share your tastes with us and we’ll recommend something to suit.

We also recommend our Tasmanian Gourmet Picnic Hamper. We’ll take you to a peaceful hidden gem — perhaps by a lake or river, at the beach, in a quiet park, or a grassy field — and set everything up for you, complete with a picnic blanket and chairs. While you sit back, relax, and soak up the scenery, your chauffeur will make themselves discreet so you can enjoy the moment in privacy.

Your picnic will include a selection of Tasmanian cheeses, cold meats, homemade hummus, fresh vegetables, olives, pickles, crusty breads, fresh eggs from our own hens, and our unique pork and wallaby terrine. You’re welcome to bring your own drinks, or we can stop along the way to help you choose the perfect drop.

PICK UP & DROP OFF AT YOUR LOCATION?

Don’t want to start and finish your tour in Campbell Town? NO PROBLEM – We can come to YOU.

If you would like us to pick you up and return you to your location/accommodation, this is charged at just $1 per kilometre (without passengers).

The travel fee is charged from our location at Campbell Town to your location, then the same charge for our return travel after drop off.

Eg 1: If you wish to be collected and returned to your accommodation at, for example, Saffire Freycinet, which is 105 kms from us, we will charge $105 each way = $210 total, plus tour fees.

Eg 2: If you wish to be collected and returned to your cruises ship in Hobart, which is 134kms from us, we will charge $134 each way = $268 total, plus tour fees.

Eg 3: If you wish to be collected and returned to Launceston, which is approx 68kms from us, we will charge $68 each way = $136 total, plus tour fees.
