Frozen Budget Community Meals

Frozen Budget Community Meals.

Our Frozen Budget Community Meals are a service we proudly offer to support our local community with affordable, homemade, and nutritious meals.
These are NOT part of our main meetings & events catering, nor our regular menu. These are simple, wholesome “old-time” classics—budget-friendly, healthier alternatives made with seasonal produce, including vegetables and herbs from our own garden.
How It Works:
✅ Price – $10 per serve (Minimum order: 5 meals / $50 per order)
✅ Pick-Up Location – The Church, Campbell Town
✅ Delivery Available – Campbell Town, Conara & Ross (small delivery charges apply)
✅ Payment Options – Pay online at checkout or with cash upon pickup/delivery
🧑‍🍳Cooking every day can be a challenge, especially for those who are elderly, live alone, have mobility issues, demanding jobs, work late, shift workers looking for evening meals to take to work, aren’t very good at cooking, dislike cooking, can’t cook for whatever reason, or simply prefer not to cook.
This is not a profitable commercial venture but a community-focused initiative, with most costs covering ingredients, packaging containers, labelling printer, ink & label reel costs, food license fees, a new freezer and running expenses, utilities, and a small contribution to labour.
Our goal is to make nutritious, homemade meals accessible to those who need them while keeping prices as low as possible. This initiative is about supporting our local community, ensuring that everyone has access to wholesome, affordable food.
LOCAL COMMUNITY: If any community members have excess garden produce they would like to donate, please leave it at our gate, letterbox, or the shelf behind our fence at the entrance. This produce will be used for community meals, NOT for any of our commercial cooking. All donations are gratefully accepted, providing a wonderful opportunity to use nutritious, seasonal produce in excess of your needs to benefit others in the community.
