ADDRESS
Directions to The Church Tasmania
The Church Tasmania is located at 55 High St, Campbell Town, TAS 7210.
Positioned on the main highway between Hobart and Launceston, this historic venue is easily accessible for Tasmanians and tourists alike.
Spotting the Venue:
You can’t miss us! Look out for our distinctive features:
- The large pointed spire of The Church &
- The white picket fence surrounding the entire property.
As a Heritage Tasmania site, our priority is always to be within keeping of our Heritage listing.
“The parkland/garden setting of both the church and hall are considered of high heritage significance for its historic and aesthetic values, and as a contributing element to an important landmark on a major Tasmanian thoroughfare” Therefore, we don’t provide on-site parking.
We are, however, fortunate to have ample Council parking just a short stroll away:
Campbell Town Recreation Ground Complex – 120 metres away (Approx. 1–2 min walk).
Bridge Street (near Campbell Town High School) – 130 metres away (Approx. 1–2 min walk).

At The Church, we don’t just welcome diversity—we celebrate it.
We proudly embrace individuals of all cultures, backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, abilities, ages, and life experiences. Whether you’re attending an event, visiting our markets, booking a wedding, joining a community activity, or simply stopping by, you are always welcome—exactly as you are.
We believe that inclusion is not just a statement—it’s a practice. It is reflected in every part of what we do, from our event planning and customer service, to our product offerings and visual marketing. We represent diverse couples in our wedding promotions, stock Pride-themed gifts in our hamper range, and offer free opportunities for local charities and marginalised community groups to engage through our weekly Community Stall.
Our commitment to inclusion is grounded in kindness, respect, safety, and access for all. We recognise that some visitors may be more vulnerable than others, and we take meaningful steps to ensure everyone feels secure and supported.
🛡️ Supporting Vulnerable People
-
Our grounds are fully fenced for the safety of children, people with disabilities, and community groups
-
We maintain an on-site defibrillator
-
Owners Nicole and Garry are both trained in First Aid, hold Working With Vulnerable People Cards, have valid National Police Checks, and bring extensive Emergency Services experience
These safety measures are not only about compliance—they’re part of our ethos of care.
🤝 What Inclusion Looks Like at The Church
-
LGBTQIA+ Visibility: We include same-sex and gender-diverse couples in our advertising and events.
-
Cultural Awareness: We respectfully engage with all community members, including First Nations people and multicultural families.
-
Community Support: We provide free stall space weekly to local charities, support services, and grassroots organisations.
-
Accessible Spaces: We strive to ensure our venue is accessible and welcoming to all, with plans for continuous improvement.
-
Product Representation: Our hamper range includes identity-affirming items such as Rainbow Pride jewellery and inclusive gift messaging.
-
Safe Conversations: We welcome feedback and dialogue and are always open to learning how we can better serve our community.
We’re here to foster a compassionate, connected community—one where no one is left behind, and where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
Inclusion isn’t a box we tick—it’s the way we live, lead, and serve.
The Church acknowledges First Nations peoples and communities as the Traditional Owners of the land. We acknowledge and pay our respects to Elders past and present, and emerging leaders.
The Church is committed to safe inclusive spaces, policies and services for people of LGBTIQ+ communities and their families.
