International Women’s Day – Saturday 8th of March

March 8, 2025 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

International Women's Day The Church Campbell Town Tasmania

JOIN US FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT THE CHURCH TASMANIA!

A day of creativity, relaxation, friendship, empowerment & joy!

On the 8th of March, treat yourself (or a woman you appreciate) to a day that’s all about connection, creativity, and joy. Begin your morning unwinding with a guided watercolour painting session. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, it’s a chance to get creative while relaxing in the company of like-minded women.

Afterward, step outside for a gorgeously styled, catered picnic amidst The Church’s lush surroundings. Featuring Tasmanian-inspired platters with high-quality local produce, it’s a feast that celebrates the island’s flavours. With a complimentary non-alcoholic drink station and a caravan bar for additional beverages, you’ll be well refreshed all day long.

The grand finale? Step into the stunning Church for Miss Jacquie’s “Sip n Sing.” With upbeat tunes and an invitation to sing along, it’s an exhilarating way to close out a day dedicated to feeling empowered and uplifted.

Why Celebrate?

International Women’s Day is the perfect opportunity to honour women’s achievements, and our unique event does just that. Come for inspiration, a bit of self-indulgence, and a true celebration of community.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR DAY:  Cost is just $95 per person gives you 5.5 Hours of joy!  Starts 10.30am & finishes at 4pm.

  • Creating with Watercolours: A Unique Workshop Experience. Join us for an unforgettable watercolour workshop designed to inspire and relax. Set in the tranquil surroundings of The Church, you’ll learn essential painting techniques from a talented local artist. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned artist, this experience promises not only beautiful artwork but also a sense of pride. You’ll create your own framed masterpiece—not a practice piece you’ll hide! Reflect, unwind, and enjoy the supportive guidance in this peaceful space. An ideal setting for all skill levels!
  • Indulgent Picnic: A beautifully styled bell tent awaits, featuring rugs, lush velvet lounge chairs, a variety of other chairs (for those who like their picnic off the ground), cushions, chairs, picnic tables, and stunning floral arrangements. It’s the perfect setting for relaxation and creating lasting memories.  Then add beautiful platters of Tasmanian produce and products and optional Tasmanian drinks to indulge and relax.
  • Sip n Sing: An unforgettable music experience with live tunes and camaraderie.  Miss Jacquie’s Sip & Sing events have been described as “one of the best things you’ll ever do, because it is so much FUN!” Bring friends and family and feel the joy of creating music together. It’s not karaoke, it’s not an open mic, it’s a truly unique live show, where you’re part of the band!

You’ll leave with new friends, artistic memories, and the warm glow after a day well spent. Tickets are limited and available online only—don’t wait to grab yours for a Women’s Day celebration to remember!
