Because our food is homemade onsite from scratch, we know what goes into it and can adjust dishes wherever practical. We also take extra care when preparing special dietary meals to help minimise cross-contact.

Catering is one of the things that makes meetings at The Church particularly memorable.
Our food is made from scratch onsite, with Tasmanian produce and ingredients used wherever possible. We don’t believe meeting catering needs to be predictable or boring.
Choose from traditional morning and afternoon teas, homemade scones, sandwiches, slices and platters through to
pizzas, BBQs, hot lunches, substantial buffets and customised menus.
We can provide anything from a simple morning tea to full-day catering for your entire meeting or conference.
Menus can be tailored to suit your group, budget and schedule, with options available per person or per dish.
Dietary Requirements? Absolutely.
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and other dietary requirements can all be catered for.
We take dietary requirements seriously and are happy to work with you to ensure everyone in your group is well catered for — not simply given an afterthought alternative.

Every meeting is different, so we don’t dictate how you use the space.
We can set The Church up in whatever configuration works best for your group, or you’re very welcome to move tables and chairs throughout the day as your needs change.
Whether you need presentation seating, tables for training, smaller working groups or a combination throughout the day, we’ll work with you.
We also proudly provide LOTS of thoughtful extras to make your day more comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

HEATING? We currently have numerous heaters throughout the room, however, we are also continuing to invest in the venue, including additional large-capacity heating and cooling, providing even greater year-round comfort.

A Sustainable Meeting Venue
Sustainability isn’t simply something we talk about — it’s incorporated into how we operate The Church.
We actively work to reduce waste, reuse and recycle wherever practical, source locally and make thoughtful environmental choices throughout our venue and catering operations.
Our gardens include more than 1,000 plantings, herbs, fruit trees and edible produce. Food scraps are reused through our chickens and composting systems, helping return nutrients to the gardens rather than unnecessarily sending food waste to landfill.
We prioritise Tasmanian and local ingredients wherever practical, reducing food miles while supporting other Tasmanian producers and businesses.
Choosing The Church means choosing an independently owned venue committed to becoming more sustainable, not simply appearing sustainable.
